Bishkek, Feb. 7, 2023 / Kabar/. There are no dead Kyrgyzstanis as a result of earthquakes in Turkiye, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

As of 10:00 am Bishkek time, according to preliminary data, there are no citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic among the dead, the report said.

On the night of February 5-6, a 7.4 magnitude earthquake occurred in several provinces of Turkiye.

The natural disaster also affected the Syrian provinces of Aleppo, Latakia, Hama and Tartus.

On February 6 at 13:25 there was another earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 points. Later, dozens of aftershocks were recorded.

Another cataclysm occurred on the same day at 03:13 with a force of 5.6 points.

According to RIA Novosti, the earthquake was felt in Lebanon, Iraq, Israel, Georgia, Abkhazia, small tremors were recorded in Sochi.
