There is no need to impose state of emergency: HQ for combating COVID-19

Bishkek, June 26, 2020. /Kabar/. The Republican Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus Infection in Kyrgyzstan decided that there is no need to introduce a state of emergency or emergency.

As Deputy Minister of Health Mademin Karatayev said during a briefing at the Government House, such a decision was taken Thursday at a meeting of the HQ with the participation of Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov.

At the same time, instructions were given to make sure that employees of various organizations work remotely as far as possible.

"State administrations and mayors' offices have been instructed to tighten control over markets and points of sale with large number of people," he said.

Karatayev also added the Health Ministry has been instructed to strengthen an information campaign on sanitation, distance and maximum self-isolation.
