Bishkek, Apr. 30, 2020 / Kabar /. There is no shortage of food products in Kyrgyzstan, Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev told during a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh.

He said that there are some difficulties with the supply of goods that are delivered from afar. “There has been an increase in prices for some product positions. Our country works with imports, that’s why a fall in world oil and gas prices has led to higher prices for some products. For example, the price of 1 ton of wheat increased by 7-8%. But we have implemented measures to keep prices for consumer goods. I believe we are holding back prices, there is no shortage in the country. Now the country has enough flour, sugar,” the prime minister said.

He also noted that assistance is coming from neighboring states.
