There is no shortage of test systems for analysis of coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, March 13, 2020. / Kabar /. There is sufficient number of test systems in Kyrgyzstan to provide medical care in healthcare organizations today, the country’s Minister of Health Kosmosbek Cholponbaev told a press conference.

He said that, through negotiations with the ministries of health of Russia and Turkey, 2500 test systems were received from Rospotrebnadzor, 100 test systems - from Turkey, and 1000 test systems were received from WHO. A total of 1289 people were examined for coronavirus, all had a negative result.

“These test systems have a sensitivity of 95.99%. They can diagnose the virus even in the incubation period. Humanitarian assistance from Japan’s medicines is also expected,” the minister added.
