Bishkek, June 13, 2024. /Kabar/. The third political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the State of Kuwait took place in Bishkek, the press service of the ministry reported.
According to the information, the delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Avazbek Atakhanov, the Kuwaiti side was headed by Assistant Minister, Director of the Asia Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait Samih Isa Al-Jauhar Hayat.
During the consultations, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as the organization of mutual visits at the highest and highest levels. The delegations exchanged views on the priorities for further mutual cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties were united on the issues of intensifying trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as expanding the legal framework between the two countries.
Avazbek Atakhanov noted the importance of the joint implementation of the existing economic potential of the two countries and proposed to intensify close interaction within the framework of the Arab Coordination Group (ACG), as well as in the “Central Asia - Cooperation Council of Arab States” format.
During the consultations, views were also exchanged on a number of topical issues on the international agenda. The parties noted their mutual interest in strengthening regional security and stability, as well as the relevance of joint efforts in countering new challenges and threats. The parties agreed to continue active interaction within international organizations, in particular at the UN, OIC and others, providing each other with mutual support.
