In the program of the World Nomad Games - 2018 there will be 37 kinds of sports, Kanat Amankulov, the director of the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic told during the exit meeting in Cholpon-Ata on preparation and holding of the Third World Nomad Games (WNG).
The issues of venues for sports, the organization of convenient logistics and the location of foreign sports delegations, national teams of Kyrgyzstan during the Third WNG were discussed at the meeting.
Amankulov also asked to pay special attention to some issues. "In comparison with the Games held in 2016, we have increased the number of sports up to 37. We must carefully analyze, take into account all the disadvantages and advantages of the previous games," he said.
The working group also got acquainted with sports and cultural facilities where it is planned to conduct a sports program of the WNG, hotels, hotel complexes near Cholpon-Ata town to determine the logistics and accommodation of sports delegations.
The Third World Nomad Games will be held in September this year in the Issyk-Kul oblast.
The program of the First World Nomad Games, which were held in 2014 included 10 kinds of sports, at the Second WNG in 2016 this number was increased up to 23.
