Bishkek, Aug. 13, 2021. / Kabar /. The growth of the disease among citizens from 20 to 50 years old is explained by the fact that this category of citizens neglects safety measures, the coordinator of the 118 service, consultant of the city health department Elden Kalchakeev told at a briefing today.
He said that this year there was an increase in the disease among citizens up to 40-50 years old. “This is due to the fact that this category of citizens neglects safety measures, does not comply with sanitary standards and leads an active lifestyle, that is, often visits crowded places where there is a high risk of contracting the virus. As a result, we have seen this year a great spread among this category,” the expert said.
Kalchakeev, nevertheless, noted that at the moment there is a decline in the disease and a mild scenario is observed since the campaign to vaccinate citizens has begun. “I would like to urge all citizens to get vaccinated, because at the moment this is the most effective way to fight the coronavirus. There are sufficient quantities of vaccines throughout the country,” he said.
