This year selection and enrollment of applicants to universities will to be held online

Bishkek, June 8, 2020 / Kabar /. The selection and enrollment of applicants to universities this year will be held online, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlan Omurov told at a news briefing.

He said that, a platform has been created on the basis of the ministry, where an applicant will be able to submit documents for the desired specialty without leaving home.

“The selection and enrollment of applicants will take place in 3 rounds: 1 round - from July 20 to July 22, 2 round - from July 27 to 29, 3 round - from August 3 to 5,” he said.

Kyrgyzstan’s educational facilities have started working remotely since April, 2020 amid COVID-19 pandemic.

Kyrgyzstan reported its first coronavirus case on March 18.
