This year, the volume of the local budget amounted to 21.8 billion soms – Kyrgyz Ministry of Finance

Bishkek, Mar. 7, 2019. /Kabar/. This year, the volume of the local budget amounted to 21.8 billion soms, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Azimov told during a press conference at the Kabar News Agency.

He said that the current year has been declared the Year of Regional Development and Digitalization. Thus, in this direction, work is being done to support and increase the capacity of local budgets.

So, in 2018 local budgets amounted to 20.1 billion soms, in 2019 – 21.8 billion soms, which is greater by 1.7 billion soms than last year. Of these, own revenues of the local budget amount to 18.7 billion soms, adjusting the transfer from the republican budget – 2 billion soms and targeted transfers from the republican budget – 1.1 billion soms.
