Bishkek, April 18, 2023. / Kabar /. 18 Thoroughbred English horses have been brought to Kyrgyzstan’s Osh region from Latvia, the Ministry of Agriculture reported.
The horses were brought in by the Department of Pastures and Animal Breeding in order to increase breeding productivity and move from quantity to quality.
As of the first quarter of 2023, 143.5 thousand heads of cattle, 0.8 thousand pigs, 542.1 thousand horses were registered in the animal identification and tracking system of Kyrgyzstan.
