Thousands of people dance Waltz of Victory in Bishkek

Bishkek, May 9, 2018. / Kabar /. A unique dance action "Waltz of Victory" was held in Bishkek on May 9. In honor of the 73rd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, more than 500 people danced waltz in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, the organizers reported.

Students and schoolchildren, as well as creative teams of Bishkek participated in the event, which has already become traditional. They performed a massive and truly spectacular dance before the 30-thousand audience, who came to honor the memory of WWII veterans.

The event did not leave anyone indifferent. Many townspeople circled in waltz along with the participants of the action. The others watched with interest the waltzers and sang the immortal composition "May Waltz".

The "Waltz of Victory" was organized by the "Eurasians - New Wave" Foundation in partnership with the Bishkek Mayor’s Office.

It is worth noting that this year the action was held for the fourth time. In 2015, 2016 and 2017 it was attended by more than 2 thousand people.
