Osh, Apr.2, 2020. /Kabar/. Thousands of tons of humanitarian aid and medical supplies arrived Thursday in Kyrgyzstan’s Osh Oblast from Uzbekistan, the press service of the Osh Oblast state administration reported.
Thus, the Republic of Uzbekistan handed over 1,000 tons of flour, 7,000 protective combination suits, 7,000 disposable respirators, 20,000 disposable gloves, 500 special protective glasses and 200 pieces of pyrometer.
The humanitarian aid received will be delivered to the storage facility of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Its distribution will be carried out by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As of Apr.2, 116 cases of COVID-19 were registered in Kyrgyzstan. 54 cases were revealed in Dzhalal-Abad Oblast, 30 in Osh Oblast, Chui Oblast reported about 5 cases, Batken Oblast -3, Naryn Oblast-4, Issyk-Kul Oblast 2, and the cities of Bishkek and Osh confirmed 8 and 10 novel coronavirus cases, respectively.
There are 63 women, 53 men, including 11 children among those infected.
Five citizens have recovered and discharged from hospital.
From March 25 to April 15, a state of emergency is in force in the cities of Bishkek, Osh and Dzhalal-Abad, Nookat and Kara-Suu regions of Osh Oblast and in Suzak region of Dzhalal-Abad Oblast.
Movement for all citizens, except for those who are issued with a pass, namely internal affairs officers and medical and civil servants, is limited between 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. (night time). A curfew is established.
