Three COVID-19 infected citizens are in intensive care: Kyrgyz Health Ministry

Bishkek, March 29, 2020./Kabar/.Three Kyrgyzstanis with recently confirmed COVID-19 coronavirus infection are in intensive care, Kasymbek Mambetov, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Health said a a briefing at the Government's House.

According to him, two of them are located in Nookat region, and one in Suzak region.

He said a team of doctors is working there, including intensive care specialists, epidemiologists and pulmonologists sent from Bishkek.

"Another 14-15 doctors will be sent to the south of the country," Mambetov added.

26 new cases of COVID-19 infection have been revealed today. The total number of people infected in Kyrgyzstan is 84.

From March 25 to April 15, a state of emergency is in force in the cities of Bishkek, Osh and Dzhalal-Abad, Nookat and Kara-Suu regions of Osh Oblast and in Suzak region of Dzhalal-Abad Oblast.

Movement for all citizens, except for those who are issued with a pass, namely internal affairs officers and medical and civil servants, is limited between 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. (night time). A curfew is established.
