Bishkek, June 15, 2021 . / Kabar / . An explosion at a gas station in Russia’s Novosibirsk injured three Kyrgyz nationals with burns of varying severity, and also burned down a Kyrgyz woman's cafe, Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Tuesday.
According to preliminary data, more than 30 people were injured in total.
The place of the accident is located near the area of compact residence of Kyrgyz citizens, the staff of the Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Novosibirsk cooperated with representatives of the Operational Headquarters of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Novosibirsk Oblast, from which preliminary information was received about three injured Kyrgyz citizens with burns of varying degrees of severity.
Kyrgyzstani, born in 1968, a native of Kara-Suu town of Osh Oblast received about 20% of his body burns.
His condition is stable, there is no threat to his life, and the necessary medical care is being provided. The second citizen, born in 2001 in Uzgen region of Osh Oblast, also received body burns (about 5%) and was released home after receiving the necessary medical treatment.
The third Kyrgyzstani, born in 1988, a native of Chong-Alay region, Osh Oblast, who suffered burn injuries (about 7%), left the scene due to his state of shock; later he contacted employees of the Consulate General and with their assistance and help was taken to the hospital.
At present, the Consulate General is in close contact with the Operational Headquarters of the Russian Emergency Ministry in Novosibirsk Oblast, health and police authorities, the Kyrgyz diaspora in case of possible identification of other victims of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.
