Three Kyrgyzstanis injured in gas cylinder explosion in Surgut

Bishkek, Dec. 16, 2021 . / Kabar /. A gas cylinder explosion occurred at a service station on 30 Let Pobedy Street in Surgut, Russia on Dec. 15 at about 6:00 p.m. local time.

The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that 10 people were injured as a result of the accident.

According to preliminary information, among the injured are three citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic. The condition of the citizens is assessed as average. All of them were hospitalized in the Surgut Burn Center.

According to the information, there was a depressurization of a gas cylinder. As a result of the explosion the roof of the building collapsed.

The incident is under the control of the Kyrgyz Embassy's Office in Surgut.
