Three more volumes of Manas novel based on world-famous epic presented in Bishkek

Bishkek, Nov. 30, 2020. /Kabar/. Three more volumes of Manas novel were presented in Bishkek, author of the novel Tolonbai Zholdoshev said at a press conference at Kabar News Agency.

According to him, the novel is written in the version of Manas epic by Sagymbai Orozbakov. Before that, he had written two volumes of the novel which tells about the life and heroic deeds of great Manas. The book is written in simple language in the form of a text to make it easy for schoolchildren to read and understand.

"The book reflects the based storyline of Manas epic. Before writing, I consulted with scientists, experts and only then I started writing. As you know, the epic has two lines: heroic and mythical. In the novel, I reflected more of the heroic part of the epic. The novel is mainly intended for 8-9th grades. The book is on sale since 2018. At that time there were only two volumes. Now I have released the other three," he said.

The author shared the work on translation of the Manas novel into Russian has started now, and later the books will be translated into Uzbek. Tolonbai Zholdoshev also intends to put the novel in electronic format.

Each volume is published in 100 copies.
