Three people drowned in Kyrgyzstan in last 24 hrs, including one teenager

Bishkek, June 29, 2022. /Kabar/. Three people drowned in Kyrgyzstan in the past day, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the republic said Wednesday.

A15-year-old boy drowned at one of the resorts in Issyk-Kul Oblast. Rescuers arrived at the scene, pulled the body out of the water and handed him over to the police.

Another fatal case occurred in Batken Oblast. A 57-year-old man fell into the Sokh River. Rescuers found the body today at 6:20 a.m. and handed it over to relatives.

36-year-old resident of Naryn Oblast fell into the Kara-Kungei River. Rescuers found the body at 7:00 p.m. and handed it over to the police.
