Three schools closed for quarantine in Bishkek

Bishkek, April 15, 2021. / Kabar / . The capital schools are closed for quarantine, the press service of Bishkek Mayor’s Office reported on Thursday.

On April 14, the capital's educational organizations resumed their work in traditional and online modes.

"According to statistics from the Education Department of the capital's mayor's office, a traditional mode of education was resumed for more than 100,000 primary, 5th, 9th and 11th grade students,” the report said.

Meanwhile, parents of 1,377 students wrote an application to continue online homeschool education.

“At present, three schools in the capital have been closed for quarantine due to the detected cases of COVID-19", the municipality said.

Bishkek Mayor’s Office also reminded in which cases the school is closed for quarantine.

"The full transition to online depends on the number of contacts with a sick child or a teacher, the decision is made by epidemiologists of the Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance,” the report said.
