Bishkek, July 6, 2023. /Kabar/. "Modern youth should be mobile and active in order to easily adapt to the rapidly changing world," President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov said Thursday at a ceremony honoring high school graduates who received "gold certificates" based on the results of nationwide testing.

The Kyrgyz leader congratulated the graduates on successful graduation and the beginning of adult life and wished that the knowledge gained at school would serve as a solid foundation for their future.

He also drew attention to the increase in the nationwide test results, which is the result of the work aimed at improving the quality of education at schools.

"This year more than 50,000 graduate students took part in the nationwide test, but only you were able to distinguish yourselves with a high level of knowledge and are now receiving gold certificates. I believe this is a great credit to your teachers and, of course, to your parents. Efforts of teachers and attention of parents form children's interest in learning, their culture of thinking, and their will to win," Zhaparov emphasized.

The head of the state pointed out that the world today is rapidly developing and the demand for highly qualified young professionals is increasing at the same speed. In this regard, in the republic, great attention is paid to improving the quality of education, revitalizing the active scientific environment, as well as promoting the potential of young people, because improvement of society in all directions depends on these three components.

"Today, new schools are being built in all regions of the republic and learning conditions are being improved. Our main goal is for children to learn in modern schools. Today's young people need to be mobile and active in order to adapt easily to a rapidly changing world. Parents, caregivers and teachers have an important role to play in this. It directly depends on you whether the child will follow the negative influence of the developing world or benefit from innovations," the president of Kyrgyzstan said.

He noted that the high aspiration for new knowledge, thanks to which the heroes of today's celebration became the owners of the gold certificates, should only grow stronger and stronger.

"You have gold certificates in your hands. They will open up great opportunities for you. The doors of all Kyrgyz universities are open to you, and you can study on a state-financed basis at any of them. Among you are those who are going to enter foreign universities. This is also good. Always remember how proud and important it is to return to your home country with knowledge obtained abroad and make a contribution to the development of your home country," Zhaparov emphasized.

In conclusion, the Kyrgyz leader wished applicants a bright future and success in achieving their goals.
