Bishkek, May 26, 2022. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov dwelled on the statistics, answering a question at the plenary session of the Eurasian Economic Forum.
According to his data, the growth of the Union's GDP in 2021 amounted to 4.6%, the volume of mutual trade increased by 32%. At the same time, the GDP of Kyrgyzstan grew by 3.6%, and following the results of 4 months, the growth was 5.4%. The volume of trade between Kyrgyzstan and the EAEU countries increased by 40% compared to January-December 2020, and by 21% in the first quarter.
“And this is despite pandemic restrictions and external pressure on individual EAEU member countries. Once again I want to note that all this is due to our well-coordinated work. I am sure that together we will be able to overcome all the challenges that we face,” Zhaparov concluded.
