Tokayev expresses condolences to Zhaparov in connection with border conflict victims

Bishkek, May 1, 2021. / Kabar /. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev today, on May 1, during a telephone conversation, expressed his condolences to President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov in connection with the victims of the armed conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border in Batken Oblast.

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz president, the telephone conversation took place at the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

During the conversation, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed the importance of a peaceful settlement of the conflict on the border in the spirit of good-neighborliness, partnership and brotherhood.
