"We are interested in attracting advanced technologies and management of Russian companies to the country," Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev said at international industrial exhibition Expo-Russia Kyrgyzstan 2022/Expo Eurasia - 2022 and the Bishkek Business Forum.
Torobaev noted that the event will further strengthen trade and economic relations between the two countries, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers said Tuesday.
"Over the past year, according to our data, the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to about USD 2 billion 285.4 million. We are interested in attracting advanced technologies and management of Russian companies for the progressive development of the domestic economy. We have something to offer Russian business. We are open to new proposals and projects. The Kyrgyz Republic always supports the initiatives and projects of bona fide foreign investors and is ready to provide maximum assistance in their further implementation,” the deputy head of the Kyrgyz Cabinet said.
The exhibition, attended by over 200 companies, is designed to help expand trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The expositions of Russian and Kyrgyz companies present innovative products and developments in all areas of the national economy.
