Bishkek, June 20, 2020. /Kabar/. Throughout the country 20 patients with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 were discharged from hospitals within 24 hours, Chief Sanitary Doctor and Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev said during a briefing.
"All their repeated tests showed negative results. A total of 1,981 citizens across the country have cured of COVID-19, and they have all been sent home", Usenbayev said.
Kyrgyzstan’s health ministry reported on Saturday 192 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections to 2981.
Currently, 498 people remained hospitalized, and 5 patients are in intensive care.
At the same time, the deputy minister reported 3 new virus-related deaths, raising the total number of fatalities to 35.
