Tashkent, May 13, 2020. /Kabar/. As of 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, a number of coronavirus cases in Uzbekistan has climbed to 2, 568, the press service of the Uzbek Health Ministry said.
During the day, 59 COVID-19 positive cases have been revealed, the same number of people - 59 have been cured and transferred to rehabilitation.
Starting May 8, Uzbekistan introduced color quarantine levels - "red" (high), "yellow" (medium) and "green" (low) - based on an assessment of the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the country's regions.
From Monday, May 11 this classification started to operate at the district and city levels of the country.
Currently, the number of cases of novel coronavirus in the republic is 2, 568, and the number of people recovered is 2, 040, 10 patients have died.
More than 500 patients are being treated, 12 of whom are in serious condition.
