Total of 23,624 people vaccinated in Kyrgyzstan against COVID-19

Bishkek, April 29, 2021. / Kabar /. 3,221 doses of COVID-19 vaccines had been administered across Kyrgyzstan during the last 24 hours.

The total number of coronavirus vaccine jabs administered nationwide had reached 23,624, according to data of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19.

661 of them have already received the second shot of the vaccine.

Kyrgyzstan has started COVID-19 vaccination campaign on March 29 using China-donated vaccine after receiving 150,000 doses of the Sinopharm vaccine. The vaccination is carried out twice, with an interval of 25-28 days. No side effects have been reported after immunization with this vaccine.

In addition, Kyrgyzstan received the first batch of the Russian coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V in the amount of 20,000 doses on April 22.
