Total of 378 medical workers in Kyrgyzstan contracted COVID-19

Bishkek, June 5, 2020. /Kabar/. In the past day, another 6 medics contracted COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Minister of Health Nurbolot Usenbayev said a news briefing.

"Two health workers have recovered and been discharged from hospitals. A total of 378 medics were diagnosed with COVID-19, 272 of whom have been discharged from hospitals after recovery," he added.

Kyrgyzstan announced on Friday the registration of 37 new COVID - 19 cases, bringing the total number of infections to 1936.

1,340 citizens of them have cured and been discharged from hospitals.

Death toll from novel coronavirus has reached 22.
