Bishkek, Feb.28, 2020. /Kabar/. According to preliminary results for 2019, the total revenue of the Social Fund of Kyrgyzstan amounted to KGS 53 billion 860.7 million (9.1% of GDP), which is 98.7% more than the approved budget.
Compared to the execution of the budget for 2018, it increased by KGS 2 billion 847 million, or 105.6%. This became known at an expanded session of the Board of the Social Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic on the results of activities for 2019, the Fund’s press service said.
The receipt of insurance contributions made KGS 32 billion 420.7 million, while the plan was KGS 33 billion 144.3 million. Thus, the failure to implement the plan amounted to KGS 723.6 million, or 97.8% of the approved budget.
According to preliminary data, expenses of the Social Fund in 2019 amounted to KGS 53 billion 508.2 million, which is KGS 3 billion 198.6 million more than in 2018.
In 2019, the entire required amount for the payment of pensions and other social payments in the amount of KGS 45 billion 290.2 million was fully funded.
Compared with 2018, the need for payment of pensions and other social payments has increased by KGS 2 billion 864 million.
As of Jan.1, 2020, the number of pension recipients in the country made 672 thousand 800 people. Compared to 2018, the number of pensioners increased by 21 thousand 600 people.
In 2019, the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund was financed at KGS 2,320.0 million and the Workers' Recuperation Fund at KGS 287.1 million.
According to preliminary results for 2019, the Social Fund budget was executed with a surplus of KGS 352.5 million.
