Bishkek, Aug. 28, 2017 / Kabar /. A delegation of international tour operators and representatives of the adventure travel association (ATTA) arrived in Kyrgyzstan to cooperate with local companies, Gulmira Myrzakmat, the manager of the tourism development program of the USAID’s Business Growth Initiative (BGI) reported.
"As part of the BGI project, we invited six representatives of international tour operators from Canada, America, England, India, Holland and France to Kyrgyzstan to talk about the country's tourism potential, and to build business bridges. First, we organized an informational tour around the country that lasted 9 days, on the 10th we held a business meeting, the parties could conclude contracts," Gulmira Myrzakmat said.
In her opinion, this kind of event will be beneficial both for local and foreign companies.
"International companies can add new tourist packages, which our country offers. All that they lack, is an adventure for them, these are: horseback riding, living in yurts, rock climbing," she added.
The BGI project works on three different components of economic development: tourism, clothing and building materials. This event is organized to improve the country's tourism potential and economic development.
