Tourism exhibition of countries of Great Silk Road opened in Xi'an

Bishkek, Aug. 17, 2023. /Kabar/. The VIII International Tourism Exhibition "The Great Silk Road" has opened in Xi'an, China, the press service of the Tourism Development Support Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The exhibition gathered participants from the countries through which this historical route passed. Comprehensive areas of cooperation, opportunities for the joint development of culture and tourism are discussed at the site.

The Kyrgyz Republic in Xi'an is represented by Samat Shatmanov, Director of the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, and Abylkasym Sherniyazov, President of the Tourism Development Support Fund. As part of their participation, country presentations are planned, including major investment projects, the signing of agreements and contracts.

On the eve of the exhibition, a forum on the development of tourist cities of countries along the One Belt - One Road was also held.
