Tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan presented at exhibition in Seoul

Bishkek, Nov. 11, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan was presented at the international tourism exhibition Seoul International Tourism Fair 2020 (SITIF 2020).

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Embassy in South Korea, SITIF exhibition is one of the major international tourism exhibitions of the Asian region, which was organized with the support of the South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Seoul City Hall and the Korea World Travel Fair (KOTFA).

The main focus of SITIF is to promote tourism through various fairs and festivals on an annual basis, which bring together tour operators and travel agencies from around the world. This time, Kyrgyz tour operators were unable to travel to Seoul because of quarantine regulations in South Korea related to coronavirus.

During the exhibition, the Embassy organized a performance of Kyrgyz komuzist (person playing on komuz) Gulaiym Kozhomkulova, videos about the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan were showed, booklets of travel agencies promoting tourism in Kyrgyzstan, as well as information about the beautiful nature and rich culture of the Kyrgyz people were distributed.
