Bishkek, Aug. 19, 2019 / Kabar /. It is planned to create a tourist zone on the place of Teplye Klyuchi sanatorium, Daniyar Kazakov, the Director of Kyrgyztourism State Enterprise told reporters at Kabar Agency.
He said that USD 200 million is necessary for creating a tourist zone in Alamedin gorge.
Kyrgyztourism plans to improve the Teplye Klyuchi medical and health complex and its adjacent territory in Kyrgyzstan, and also to improve the Ala-Archa National Nature Park, the cost of the latter is estimated at about USD 10 million.
The director of the state enterprise noted that in this case, the Kyrgyztourism will work on the principle of PPP (public-private partnership).
“The price of projects varies and is constantly changing, it all depends on many objects, but the approximate cost is as follows. Now there are foreign investors, who want to invest in the project. By the way, the project is planned to be completed after the New Year,” said Kazakov.
Teplye Klyuchi sanatorium is located 35 km far from Bishkek. The resort complex is located at an altitude of 2000 m above sea level in Alamedin gorge.
On the territory of the recreation center there are surface wells with mineral water, the temperature of which is about 53 degrees. Such water is widely used to treat many diseases.
