Bishkek, Sept. 26, 2022 / Kabar /. The volume of trade between Kyrgyzstan and China by the end of 2022 may reach USD 9 billion, Minister of Economy and Commerce Daniyar Amangeldiev told today on the air on Birinchi Radio.
He said that such forecasts come from the preliminary calculations of the National Statistical Committee.
“Turnover of imported goods from China for the most part remains in the shadows. With the introduction of cash registers in the next 2-3 years, an increase in revenue from them by 100 billion soms annually is expected,” Daniyar Amangeldiev added.
Let us add that in 2021, the trade turnover between China and Kyrgyzstan amounted USD to 7.5 billion, which is almost 18% more than in 2019, which amounted to USD 6.37 billion. In 2020, it has more than halved to USD 2.9 billion.
