Tashkent, Nov. 21, 2024. /Kabar/. In January-October 2024, trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan amounted to $675.6 million, including $444.8 million in exports from Uzbekistan and $230.8 million in imports from Kyrgyzstan, the Statistics Agency under the President of Uzbekistan said.
In the same period last year, trade turnover amounted to $814.1 million, including $566.5 million of exports from Uzbekistan and $247.6 million of imports from the Kyrgyz Republic. In January-October 2024, Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover amounted to $54.4 billion and increased by $3.4 billion or 6.7% compared to the same period of 2023.
Of the total volume of foreign trade turnover, exports amounted to $22,442.6 million (by January-October 2023 there was an increase of 9.6%), and imports - $31,924.6 million (an increase of 4.7%). As a result, the balance of foreign trade turnover amounted to a negative balance of $9,482.0 million.
To date, Uzbekistan carries out trade relations with 194 countries of the world. The largest volume of foreign trade turnover was recorded with China (18.8%), Russia (17.8%), Kazakhstan (6.3%), Turkey (4.5%) and the Republic of Korea (3.0%).
