Bishkek, Oct. 3, 2018. /Kabar/. It is necessary to develop transplantology In Kyrgyzstan, member of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament) Evgenia Strokova stated during a round table in Bishkek.

She said that now this question is one of the urgent ones in the republic. The deputy also mentioned repeatedly that it is very important in the Kyrgyz Republic to promote prevention and a healthy lifestyle.

“Now it’s customary to talk about longevity, but in order to live long, you need to start a healthy lifestyle from birth, not in old age. The minister, who builds more cardiology centers, first of all, thinks as a businessman, but it's more important for people to prevent a disease than to deal with its consequences,” the deputy said.

She also noted that the issue of transplantation remains open for the Kyrgyz Republic and needs to be addressed.

“Organ transplantation is a very important task, but we need to learn this. We've got used to what we see in the movies - a man has a heart transplant and he walks happy. But in reality, everything is different - a person has a someone else’s organ, and it takes a long period of time for the body to fully accept the organ, that is, the patient will lead the rest of his life as if walking on a blade,” Strokova said.
