Bishkek, Feb. 9, 2024. /Kabar/. Minister of Transport and Communications Tilek Tekebaev met today in Ankara with Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkiye Abdulkadir Uraloglu, the Kyrgyz ministry’s press service reported.
The parties discussed current issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkiye in the transport industry and agreed to continue active work on transport corridors connecting Kyrgyzstan and Turkiye.
The ministers also discussed issues of simplification of obtaining permits used for international cargo transportation and digitalization of transport links.
At the same time, plans were discussed to exchange experience and provide technical support to the state enterprise Kyrgyz Temir Zholu.
