Bishkek, Feb.13, 2020. /Kabar/. The Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Kyrgyz Republic told about the progress of work under the Reconstruction of Osh-Batken-Isfana highway, 75th-108th km. (Caravan - Kok-Talaa villages) project.
At present, the general contractor is the Turkish Alke Inshaat Sanayi and Tijaret company, which carries out winter maintenance of the construction site and some construction works.
As of Feb.10, construction of a new dive culvert is underway. (50 % of the work is completed).
“Spectrum Engineering Consultants S.A.R.L. consulting company (Lebanon) is constantly monitoring the quality and progress of construction works. If defects are detected by the consultant, the contractor is obliged to eliminate them at its own expense," the report says.
The payment to the contractor for the work performed is timely and there are no arrears to date.
A contract for construction work worth $ 18.2 million was signed on May 17, 2017 between the Ministry of Transport and Roads of Kyrgyzstan and the Alke Inshaat Sanayi and Tijaret company.
