Tulip Festival to be held in Bishkek

Bishkek, April 7, 2023. / Kabar/. The Tulip Festival will be held in Bishkek on April 12 in the Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the organizers, the main goal of the festival is to popularize and protect the tulip in Kyrgyzstan and is positioned, first of all, as an environmental and educational holiday about the natural flora of Kyrgyzstan.

The Tulip Festival in the Botanical Garden is held for the second time and focuses the public's attention on the need to preserve the unique endemic Red Book tulips.

Tulip is a symbol of spring. It personifies the end of the cold and the joy of the sun's warming rays.
