Bishkek. Nov. 1, 2018. /Kabar/. The Ministers of Health of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey agreed to increase the quota up to 150 people for the treatment of Kyrgyz citizens in Turkish clinics.
In 2014, Turkey started to provide quota annually for free treatment to 100 Kyrgyz citizens.
This rule works within the framework of an agreement between the governments of the two countries on cooperation in the field of health care.
Under the agreement, 50 people are selected by the Commission of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan, 50 – by the Embassy of Turkey in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Only treatment in Turkish clinics is free; patients pay all other expenses themselves.
