Bishkek, March 25. 2020 / Kabar /. Turkey transferred the Turkey-Kyrgyzstan Friendship Hospital to the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic to combat the coronvirus infection COVID-19, the Turkish Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic said.
“During the worldwide fight against the coronavirus epidemic COVID-19, mutual support and joint action are most important. In this regard, the State Friendship Hospital "Turkey - Kyrgyzstan", which we built in Bishkek, we transferred to the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic for use in combating the epidemic of coronavirus COVID-19. We wish the brotherly and friendly people of Kyrgyzstan health and peace,” the statement said.
To date, 42 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Kyrgyzstan.
A curfew has been introduced in some regions of the country from March 25 to April 15.
