BISHKEK, Aug. 24, 2017 / Kabar /. The issues on compensation of damage to the state by the Turkish side, caused as a result of the plane crash in the village of Dacha-Suu, will be resolved in the near future, Acting Prime Minister Mukhammetkaly Abulgaziev said at a meeting in Bishkek with heads of state bodies.
He said that the interdepartmental working group and the governmental commission did a great job on providing assistance to the victims.
"Many victims have lost identity documents, housing documents and many others as a result of the destruction of their houses. The victims were given new passports, birth certificates, certificates of education, marriage certificates, housing documents. Relatives of the deceased received death certificates," he said.
Abulgaziev added that there were other problems, intra-family disputes, which delayed the preparation of documents required for negotiations with the Turkish side.
"Medical and psychological assistance was promptly provided. Besides, 34 people - relatives of the deceased - underwent rehabilitation in the city of Antalya of the Republic of Turkey," Abulgaziev said.
Recall, Boeing-747 cargo aircraft belonging to ACT Airlines crashed on the outskirts of the village Dacha-Suu near the Manas airport early in the morning on January 16, 2017. As a result of the disaster, dozens of houses were damaged, 35 local residents and 4 crew members were killed.
