Turkish President arrives in Kyrgyzstan for official visit

Bishkek, Sept. 1, 2018. / Kabar/. President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Kyrgyzstan for two-day official visit.

The official ceremony of the meeting of Kyrgyz president Sooronbay Jeenbekov with President Erdogan was held at Manas international airport, the press service of the Kyrgyz President reported.

Representatives of official delegations took part in the ceremony.

Within the framework of the official visit Jeenbekov will hold talks with Erdogan and the meeting of the High Council for Strategic Cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey is held. As a result of the talks, a number of documents are expected to be signed and the leaders of the two countries will make a statement for the press.

On the second day of the official visit, on September 2, the presidents of the two countries will participate in a business forum with the participation of entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, lay a capsule on the site of construction of a new building of the medical faculty of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University and take part in the opening of a new central mosque in Bishkek .

Also, the President of Turkey will meet with Prime Minister Mukhammedkaliy Abylgaziev and Speaker Dastan Dzhumabekov.

During the visit to Kyrgyzstan on September 2, Erdogan will attend the opening ceremony of the Third World Nomad Games, on September 3 - in the 6th summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking countries.
