Bishkek, Nov. 5, 2024 . / Kabar / . President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in Kyrgyzstan for a state visit.
The Turkish leader was met by Kyrgyz leader Sadyr Zhaparov at Manas International Airport.
Flags of the two countries were hung on flagpoles, a carpet was laid out, an installation in the form of a national yurt was installed, and a guard of honor was lined up.
The leaders of the two countries and their spouses watched a concert program with the participation of Kyrgyz artists who performed Kyrgyz and Turkish musical works.
Within the framework of the state visit, Sadyr Zhaparov and Recep Tayyip Erdogan are scheduled to hold negotiations in a narrow format, as well as the 6th meeting of the Supreme Council of Strategic Cooperation chaired by Heads of State, during which the parties will discuss a wide range of issues of Kyrgyz-Turkish interaction.
Following the visit, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents aimed at expanding strategic cooperation and further strengthening interstate relations between the two countries.
In addition, Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan will attend the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States on Nov. 6.
