Turkish president to visit Kyrgyzstan this year

Bishkek, May 2, 2022. / Kabar /. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Kyrgyzstan this year. This became known during a telephone conversation between Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev and Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the telephone conversation took place on the initiative of the Turkish side on Sunday.

During the conversation, the heads of the foreign ministries noted with satisfaction the positive dynamics in the development of bilateral relations, enshrined in the form of a strategic partnership. The sides agreed to hold the next meeting of the Joint Strategic Planning Group at the level of Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey in the near future.

They also discussed holding the Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation at the level of heads of state this year in Kyrgyzstan.
