Turkish professor wrote book about Manas, which translated into Kyrgyz and other languages

Bishkek, April 27, 2021. / Kabar /. The Turkish professor wrote the book "Manas", which has been translated into several languages, including Kyrgyz.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, on April 26, 2021, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with Professor Hayrettin Ivgin and former governor of Tokat province of Turkey Ayhan Nasuhbeyoglu.

During the meeting, Professor Dr. H. Ivgin informed about the translation and publication in the Kyrgyz language of the book "Manas", written by him on the basis of the epos of the same name and previously published in the original in Turkish. The book was also translated into Azerbaijani and Uzbek languages, and soon it is planned to complete the translation and publication into Kazakh, Turkmen and Russian languages. The author noted, the Kyrgyz translation of the book was published with the assistance of the Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination (TIKA).

In turn, Omuraliev expressed gratitude to the author for his contribution to the popularization of the Manas epic and, at the same time, Kyrgyz culture in general.
