Bishkek, Oct. 28, 2024. /Kabar/. Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiev held a bilateral meeting with Minister of Technology and Industry of Turkiye Mehmet Fatih Kacır.
The meeting of the two ministers was held within the framework of the First Meeting of Ministers of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), the Economy Ministry’s press service said.
Daniyar Amangeldiev and Mehmet Fatih Kacır discussed opportunities to expand cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
The Turkish side expressed interest in the establishment of industrial zones in the Kyrgyz Republic, which can contribute to strengthening economic ties between the two countries.
In response, Daniyar Amangeldiev spoke about the preferences that are provided under the law “On Technology Parks” and creates favorable conditions for foreign investors.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to further promote the discussed issues aimed at developing the industrial potential of Kyrgyzstan and strengthening bilateral economic ties with Turkiye.
