Bishkek, April 8, 2021. / Kabar / . The Election Observation Mission of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries (TurkPA) consisting of parliamentarians from member countries of the Parliamentary Assembly will monitor the referendum on the draft law "On the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic" to be held on April 11.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Parliament reported that observers from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkey, as well as representatives of the Secretariat will monitor the referendum.
As part of the work of the observation mission it is planned to hold a number of meetings with leadership of state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On the day of voting the Mission will visit polling stations in Bishkek and follow the process at all stages.
On April 12, a press conference of TurkPA will be held where an information of preliminary results of its observation will be presented.
A referendum on the form of government will be held on April 11, as well as local council elections.
