TURKSOY celebrates 30th anniversary of Independence of Turkic-speaking countries with festive concert

Bishkek, Feb. 26, 2021 / Kabar /. The International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) together with the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan held an online concert "All Colors of the Turkic World", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of Turkic-speaking countries, the press service of the Organization reported.

At the opening of the first concert dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Turkic-speaking countries, Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan Atageldy Shamuradov and Secretary General of TURKSOY Dyusen Kasseinov made keynote remarks.

In his speech, Dusen Kasseinov stressed that TURKSOY, using the support of the member states, makes great efforts to implement many projects aimed at strengthening cultural and artistic interaction between the Turkic peoples. Secretary General of TURKSOY also shared his feeling of deep satisfaction from the opportunity to organize and hold this concert.

Kasseinov added that the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Turkic countries begins precisely with this concert, at which the most eminent creative groups of the Turkic world will perform ethnic and traditional musical melodies from their countries.

More than 250 artists from TURKSOY member countries and regions such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Tatarstan (RF), Bashkortostan (RF) and Gagauzia (Moldova) took part in the concert.

With this bright event, artists from different parts of the Turkic world celebrated the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Turkic republics and expressed their wish for unity and solidarity in the language of art.
