Bishkek, Nov. 28, 2021 . / Kabar / . As of 12:00 a.m., 339,785 out of 3,703,420 voters had cast their votes, Deputy Chairman of Kyrgyzstan’s Central Elections Commission Tynchtyk Shainazarov said during a briefing.
He added that turnout in single constituency was 9.17% of total number of voters.
Meanwhile, turnout in single-mandate constituency made 329,965 voters or 9.12% of the total number of voters.
The parliamentary elections are being held in Kyrgyzstan by using a mixed electoral system. 54 deputies are to be elected according to the proportional system in single electoral constituencies, while 36 deputies are to be elected from single-mandate constituencies on a majority basis.
Earlier the parliament of Kyrgyzstan consisted of 120 deputies elected for a five-year term according to party lists.
