Two earthquakes registered in Kyrgyzstan in past day

Bishkek, May 25, 2021 . / Kabar / . A 3.5-magnitude earthquake was recorded in Kyrgyzstan on Monday at 6:26 p.m. local time.

The Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that the origin place of the minor quake was located at 4 km to the S-E from village Zhar-Bashi, 6 km to the S-E from village Kulchu, 7 km to the south from village Chak, and 130 km to the S-W from the city of Osh.

In settlements of the Kyrgyz Republic, the intensity of the quake made 2.5-3 points.

Another earthquake with a magnitude 4 on the Richter scale was registered in Kyrgyzstan on Monday at 10:40 a.m. local time.

The light quake’s intensity in the settlements of Kyrgyzstan amounted to 3.5 points.
