Bishkek, July 20, 2020. /Kabar/. The world premiere of the Shambala Kyrgyz film, directed by Artykpai Suyundukov, will take place at the film festival in Shanghai, the press service of the Okeyev Kyrgyz Film Studio said.
The full-length feature film, based on the White Sthip novel by Chingiz Aitmatov, is selected in Spectrum-Alternatives program.
Earlier, another film from the Kyrgyz Republic was selected in the program of the festival – Lake movie by Emil Atangeldiyev.
The International Film Festival will be held in Shanghai, China from July 25 to Aug. 2 this year.
